{What} To pack or not to pack? That is the question.

Girls weekend! Sounds fun, right? I am a planner. I plan everything: outfits, dinners, back up plans to the plans. The most fun planning for a girl’s weekend is the outfits (in my opinion). A quick weekend trip {to Charleston} only requires a few simple pieces. To start, just know that you want to be comfortable to walk the peninsula during the day. For me, comfortable is simple black leggings, a cute tank, jacket if necessary and a pair of sneakers. For dinners, I always pack a dress option, and a “jeans and cute top” option. And for sleeping my go to is a giant, soft sleep shirt. Where I seem to hit he snag is with WHAT SHOES TO PACK? What if it rains? I will always choose an option that can work for if it rains and if it doesn’t. This time of year, my rain choice will always be leather booties (perfect for day or night). My non-rain selection will be a non-leather open toe bootie, simple heel or my favorite go to Tory Birch sandal. I have linked up a few of my favorites. I try and pack light by with items that I can use interchangeably. For a quick two-day trip don’t weigh your suitcase down with 10 outfit options. Chances are, you will end up shopping and need the extra room for the trip home! Happy packing!
