My Favorite Finds (Right Now)

When choosing this week’s blog topic I couldn’t pin point one thing I wanted to share. So this week is a list of my current items “I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT” (Realistically, I could live without them, but they are my Go To’s).  I will break them down into categories: Style, Food & Bev, and Accessories.  Enjoy!! (All underlined items are linked directly to their websites)

Style
These days my daily “style” is one that consists of easy and comfortable options.  In Florida, it has been unseasonably warm causing “swimsuit weather” for a month now.  This year, having a toddler (and an active one at that) requires me to change up my regular swim gear.  This season I have fallen in love with one pieces. I have recently purchased two and have not been disappointed with either.  One is the Arizona One Piece from  L*Space.  It is reversible has a deep v in the front and a scoop in the back (literally the most comfortable and flattering suit I have ever worn).  The second is a spicy red number from Vitamin A Swimwear, called the Leah Bodysuit and it is sassy.  One cannot live in swimsuits alone, so I also live in Lululemon.  Last week I went to a (Yankees) shop night at the International Mall location and was SO HAPPY to see my favorite mesh Wunder Unders in olive green.  Another clutch purchase was the Flow Y Bra AND I LOVE IT. In compiling this list, Mike (my husband) also informed me I live in the whisper cotton v-neck pocket tee from  Madewell.  I don’t deny this, as it is the most comfortable shirt I have ever worn and as a result I have it in 4 colors.  Lastly, are my Roots sweatpants. If you haven’t purchased anything from Roots, I recommend grabbing a pair of the original sweatpant. They are the old school sweatpants you wore as a child in a classy adult version that is widely accepted in the country of Canada.
Food & Bev
I love food and I love beverages. During Spring Training, the Kicia household is chaotic to say the least.  I grocery shop for Blake’s food every week and she gets all of the good stuff.  However, coming up with dinner ideas for Mike and I was getting to be a hassle. As a result, for the last two weeks I have been cooking dinner with groceries and recipes provided by Sun Basket. It is so easy! All you do is sign up on their website, pick your meals, and they send out a box with the groceries and the recipes.  All of the produce is organic, and the recipes make clean eating easy.  Keeping on my clean eating train of thought, I have been making the most amazing breakfast smoothies brought to my kitchen by Hushup and Hustle.  Hushup and Hustle sells Blender Bombs – which are the perfect combo of protein, antioxidants and amnio acids.  I use the nut-free version because if not we would be making a trip to the ER (as I am allergic to tree nuts).  For my mixing liquid, I use Buddy Brew Cold Brew Coffee(but any cold brew would do).  To balance my clean eating I have stumbled across a few adult beverages that I would love to share with you.  First is the White Claw Hard Seltzer.  THIS IS AMAZING. They come in multiple flavors, my go to is black-cherry.  They are not sweet and taste like a LaCroix water. The second is a rose wine from A to Z Wineworks. It is delicious and refreshing.
Accessories
Ah, accessories. For an adult this means so many things.  For me this means random items I couldn’t classify.  To start, I love music, singing and dancing alone in my car.  In order to make this happen,  I purchased the trial (3 months free) of iTunes radio and have set the station to the Smash Hits of the 2000’s.  I can’t tell you how awesome it is to hear high school and college songs on my way to work every morning.  In addition to my playlist, another accessory I purchased was the FitBit Blaze.  I needed a watch that was durable and also something to track fitness(ish) data. I wear it everyday and love it because not only does it tell time and keep track of my steps, I can control my music and check text messages on it.  Lastly in my random paragraph of accessories I have my two “finishing touches” for being ready in the morning: My custom SnaffleBitBracelet Company bracelets and my Fresh lip treatment.  Chapstick and  bracelets – what more could girl need.  I have too many SBB’s to count, but if you are interested in ordering any take a look at their Instagram (@snafflebitbraceletco).

I know this post is a bit scattered but that is the way my life is (especially during baseball season).  My life is about comfortable, functional and tasty items.  Everything listed above has my seal of approval. As always if you have any questions don’t hesitate to email me at TheBlakeRoseLife@gmail.com, and check out my Instagram @TheBlakeRoseLife.
