My {Start of} Summer Picks

This week I have rounded up my “start of summer picks”. We have quite a few long weekend trips planned so I have been looking for options that make carrying on a breeze. (You know, one to two pairs of shoes that go with everything).

Clothing

Free People Jean Shorts – I have searched for comfy jean shorts that weren’t over $100 bucks for two months. I finally settled on these amazing “jorts”. They are comfortable and flattering. The fray is serious, but I purchased them anyway. They run slightly large. You can shop them here.

Rag & Bone Jean Shorts – These were my splurge buy and I love them. I love Rag & Bone as a brand. I have a three pairs of their jeans so I felt comfortable ordering these bad boys online. They run true to size. You can shop them here.

Madewell Tie Front Tank – This tank comes in three different colors. I purchased the red (having memorial day and the fourth of July in mind). It is light weight and has adjustable straps. You can shop it here.

Madewell Plumeria Jumpsuit – I haven’t tried this one on, but I loved the look of it! Figured it would be perfect for a day to night outfit. You can shop it here.

Rails Val Tie Front Shirt – I love Rails. And this stripe tie button down is perfect to wear with jean shorts and flats! You can shop it here.

Rails Cara Strawberry Tee – This is a very sheer v-neck. I purchased the one with the stars, but Nordstrom has a lot of Rails v-neck tees that are perfect for summer. You can shop this one here.

Shoes

Vince Camuto Slip – On Sneaker – These are perfect for traveling or walking around exploring. They run true to size. AND they are under $50 bucks. You can shop them here.

Marc Fisher Parli Sandal – These are a bit more dressy. They come in two colors. I have them in black, and they run true to size. The rock stud feature makes them a little more edgy and people always ask if they are Valentino. ALSO under $50 bucks. You can shop them here.

Marc Fisher Kicker Wedge Sandal – These are the perfect summer wedge. They have a rock stud feature around the ankle. I purchased them in Cognac. You can shop them here.

Toiletries

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream – I have been using this for a month. It is a fraction of the cost of my La Mer eye cream, and I have not been disappointed. I love it. It is under $50 and you can shop it here.

IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream – I bought the travel size of this at Sephora to try it out. I love it and will be buying the full size when my travel runs out. It is very moisturizing. You can shop it here.

IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Mascara – I love Tarte brand mascara but stepped outside of my comfort zone with this one. I am a fan, my lashes look fake when I wear this. You can shop it here.

Lancome Bi-Facil Instant Makeup Remover Duo – I am horrible about taking my makeup off. Lancome makes it easy to take off my eye makeup and face makeup. This duo is only $20. You can shop it here. After using both products, I use a warm to hot washcloth all over my face to wash off any excess before applying my moisturizers.
