I love Sephora : Product Spotlight!

img_2913

I can’t believe we are half way through September.  This year has flown by!  I have been getting a lot of questions about my make up and skin care products lately, so I figured it was time to do a product spotlight on what I have been using.  I like being able to do my makeup in 15 minutes or less ( due to having a toddler who also likes to do her makeup now).  Check out the products I am loving right now.

Make Up

Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer – ($45 at Sephora) I love this TM. My skin is dry, so this works perfectly as a light ‘foundation’.  This is my everyday foundation and it is SPF 20.  I wear the color Natural Radiance. You can shop it here.
Nars Blush / Bronzer Duo – ($42 at Sephora) This duo is great and very functional for the ‘sun-kissed’ look. The color duo I have is Orgasm / Laguna. This also saves space in a makeup bag if you travel frequently.  You can shop it here.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow – ($38 at Sephora) I apply this as a finisher to my face after applying my TM, Blush, and Bronzer.  It gives an airbrush fnish and is a perfect setting powder.  I use the color Translucent. You can shop it here.
Tarte Eye-shadow Palette Volume II – Rainforest of the Sea Collection – ($36 at Sephora) I don’t typically wear eye shadow during the day. But, this is the perfect palette for day to night, or night.  I will put the lighter color toward the inner part of my eye though, to make myself look more awake.  You can shop it here.
IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Mascara – ($24 at Sephora) I LOVE this mascara. It is like wearing fake eye lashes everyday. It is part of the reason I don’t have to wear eye makeup every day. You will not be disappointed. You can shop it here.
Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray – ($32 at Sephora) I spray this on before I leave the house and my makeup lasts all day.  My makeup still looks good (in my opinion) even after I leave the gym.  You can shop it here.

Skin Care

La Mer Cleansing Lotion – ($95 at Nordstrom) As I mentioned I have very dry skin, so this cleansing lotion removes makeup without drying out my skin.  You can shop it here.
Lancome Bi -Facil Face Micellar Water – ($40 at Sephora) This is another makeup remover I love.  I removes face and eye makeup and doesn’t dry my face out. You can shop it here.
Youth to the People Superfood Firm & Brighten Vitamin C Serum – ($62 at Sephora) After I wash my makeup off I apply this all over my face and neck. I love it and have noticed a huge difference in my skin. You can shop it here.
Youth to the People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream – ($58 at Sephora)  I apply this morning and night. I love it and it keeps my skin hydrated.  You can shop it here.
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream– ($48 at Sephora)  I have been using this for 3 months and it has been great.  Zero puffiness and my eyes have stayed smooth and hydrated. I apply morning and night.  You can shop it here.

My life is busy and my skin is dry (haha) and I am not getting any younger – That being said I have really been trying to take good care of my skin and simplify my make up and skin care routine.  The above have really helped me do that and my skin feels better than it has in a while.

Most everything can be found at Sephora. The great thing about Sephora is most times they offer travel sizes in products so you can try them out. They also offer a 30 day guarantee, so you can return a product if it doesn’t work for you!

As always send me a message if you have any questions!

Happy Shopping!
